Join Dogfish Head and Delmarva Birding Weekends for fabulous fall birding and off-centered ales during OktoBIRDfest x Dogfish Head, October 10 – 13!

Check out our eBird Trip Report for last year’s OktoBIRDfest x Dogfish Head, hosted Oct. 5 – 8, 2023. The trip report tallied 132 species from field trips to National Wildlife Refuges, Delaware State Parks, a biking & birding tour near Lewes, DE and a cruise on the Delaware Bay and the Broadkill River.

Eins, zwei, drei…BIRD, Delmarva!

We hope you’ll raise a glass to join us and our friends at Dogfish Head and the Dogfish INN for “OktoBIRDfest x Dogfish Head” this October 10 – 13!

We’ll be pairing fabulous fall birding with off-centered ales and adventures by bike, boat and on foot. Field trips range from Bombay Hook NWR to Assateague Island, MD, with many opportunities to sample Dogfish Head’s off-centered ales in Rehoboth Beach and Milton, DE.



Oh my gourd, it’s officially the season for all things Punkin Ale! Save the date for this year’s Punkin Ale Festival on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, DE, a FREE family friendly event where you’ll enjoy some amazing local vendors and food trucks, Dogfish Head ales & spirits, live music and much more! The festival will benefit the Brandywine Valley SPCA as part of Beer & Benevolence! 

The Dogfish INN

Nestled along the canal in historic downtown Lewes, the Dogfish INN is the Mother Nature basecamp for coastal Delaware, providing beer lovers and adventure seekers alike with fun-filled opportunities to explore the area’s many splendors. We’ll host a Tally Rally at the Dogfish INN on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 6:00 pm following our 3:30 – 6:00 pm Broadkill & Breakwaters Cruise.
