Friday, May 19: Songbirds and Shorebirds of the Delaware Bayshore

Friday, May 19, 2017: We’ll meet in Milford, DE, at 7:30 am at Dolce Bakery and Coffee Shop and bird the forests, fields and marshes around the Milford Neck Wildlife Area, searching for breeding songbirds. After lunch, we’ll meet near the DuPont Nature Center east of Milford to scan the marshes for sparrows and rails before heading to the Delaware Bayshore to enjoy the May shorebird and horseshoe crab spectacle around the afternoon high tide. We’ll end the adventure with a Happy Hour tally rally at Mispillion River Brewing.
